Crochet gift

Work has recently moved to a different location. The new place is nice but I really miss our ex-neighbour. She was a very nice lawyer who helped us so much. So…. I figured I would make something for her as a little gift before the move.

Sorry if the picture is a blur. I took this with my phone and I have very shaky hands =(

I made this first because I wanted to make something different and not an ordinary scarf. I originally wanted to make a purse, but I didn’t have enough time. Bad time management on my part…

 

I then added the flower for a little twist. It’s also removable because I just attached it onto a safety pin, so she can remove it or attach it onto her purse, shirt or whatnot.

So here it is! What do you guys think?

Tangled neck warmer

I’ve been so busy
So so so so busy that even I can’t believe it..

Have you ever felt like you’re so busy that you’re not you anymore?

I haven’t had time to do any craft
I haven’t had any time to enjoy myself
I’ve been feeling so tangled up
Life needs to stop for a moment 

It is Sunday, 8:02AM
I haven’t gone to sleep yet
But despite the amount of things I have to get done, I’ve left my passion for too long
Too long that I’m feeling lost

So here it is, started at 6:00AM, my new neck warmer 

I’ve had this yarn for a while now, but I was planning on making some type of accessory out of it. I haven’t had time to make anything and I haven’t thought of an exact use for it yet. I only got one little ball of it, but I simply loved this yarn. It’s so bubbly and soft! I was starring at my yarn drawer this morning at 6AM zoning out and realized that I’ve been needing a black/grey scarf or warmer for this cold weather, so I picked up my knitting needles and yarn, off I went! 

Ahh, it felt so good to just hold the needles and yarn. The familiar feeling came rushing back once again. Just like how I’ve been feeling, I went crazy on knitting and tangling these yarn up. I felt like I finally got a puff of fresh, cold air after being muffled under the cover for soo long! I was going at it like I’ve been starving for this.

It’s so soft and wraps around my neck perfectly! What a wonderful yarn! It wasn’t the easiest yarn to work with because it was very chunky, but the result was beautiful! I had enough for just a quick warmer, so I added a button for a twist.

Good Old Pacman!

I’ve been wanting to wait until I finish the whole set before I post this, but I soon realized that it might take me a while because school and work is driving me insane, so….. Here it is!

I followed the pattern from Full of Fluff and it turned out nice and fat, just the way I like it!

And of course, I can no longer see my husband without it…. Boys… *Shakes head*

Crochet earrings

I’ve been looking at these old hoops I no longer wear and finally decided to try and crochet my own earring! I wanted something VERY simple and cute, and so I made this~

I’m going to make more of this, and they’ll be for $6 each. Let me know if anybody’s interest!

This is great for outings or even work. I’ve decided I will make more of these using a different yarn that’s not so fuzzy. 

I also want to try different styles too. Perhaps some dangling ones and ones that are bigger, what do you guys think?

Warm everyday-scarf!

I made this scarf a while ago but have only started wearing it this winter. I love the colour because it goes with everything and I wanted to make sure the style was simple since there were two colours. I decided to make a basic knit and purl scarf while leaving the ends a little longer than usual. It’s soo warm and comfy and it passes for an everyday-scarf!


And of course, my Quatchiiiii is the model. Look at how prettiful he looks!
